AOXC is the tradename of a product which works as a water-soluble polyelectrolyte with medium molecular weight to be used as a flocculant. AOXC can effectively remove anionic dyes from aqueous solutions. AOXC performs well over a wide pH range and in the presence of inorganic salts.
Combined with its chelating properties it is used for water treatment.
